Cavalesse Topical get to be used in conjunction with the Cavalesse combination pack. The Topical gel can now be bought as a seperate item. The Cavalesse Topical gel needs to be applied to the skin as appropriate, the gel helps to balance the inappropriate immune response from the outside which the oral solution works from the inside. Cavalesse contains Nicotinamide or Vitamin B3 in combination with a number of other natural ingredients. Nicotinamide has been shown to help balance the natural immune response of a horse, so helping to maintain a healthy skin in horses & ponies prone to allergies in the Spring & Summer. There are a number of causes of allergies including feed sensitivity, nettle stings & most commonly, salvia from insect bites especially midges. A bite from a midge causes a reation resulting in swelling & itching (sweet itch). The horse will start to rub or chew the area which becomes infected & very sore. Cavalesse reduces the production of histamine & improves the skin barrier by increasing the amount of natural fats in the skin surface. This can greatly reduce the symptoms associated with allergies. Cavalesse Combi pack contains 3no. 20gm sachets & 1no. 60gm gel. As the gel sometimes gets used up quicker you can now buy this in addition to the combi pack.
