For this season's Japan pack adidas have selected arguably the best counterparts yet. Teaming up with three very different retailers to create particularly distinct silhouettes each one is as interesting as the next. This particular release has been produced in collaboration with the famed streetwear label X-LARGE. They're a specialist streetwear boutique that originally began in LA before finding cult status in the far east. When they first opened their doors old school sneakers like the adidas Superstar were the first things on their shelves so it was only right that they create a variation unique to themselves. Never a brand to keep things subdued they have opted for a long synthetic animal hair & a weathered suede to compliment it, it's a combination that creates an inimitable upper which in turn looks great against the creamy sole. Finished with a jungle print insole & a spare set of laces.
